I was originally working on Lava terrain (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=168402) (still trying to actually).

In this particular attempt, i ended up with very purplish water that looks (to me) like wine.

So if your mod need oceans made of wine, or at least just darker water, here ya go!

This. Is. Gorgeous.
It also looks like a space map, with all those white specks.
Would it be possible to make this into a new terrain type with the SDK, like "poisoned water"?
If so, that would be awesome!

That would be cool. Talk to the lopez or some of the other SDK Lords.

I just noticed the city Antediluvian in the screenshot.
Just have to play Donovan - Atlantis now :o

Sorry for the off-topicness. I like the water. It looks apocalyptic :o

Nice job GarretSidzaka. Perhaps you'de be interested in creating space terrain? Just make your "wine" more black and add specs of different colors (like white, maybe blue) to mimic space :)

that souns interesting and im gonna have to put it on the to-do list. but sould space be on the rendered water type tiles (they move) or should it be a static texture ?

Good point. It should probably be static, but moving space is better than no space!

Don't have to give anything up ... just make the graphics :)

ok made the graphics. i also added no xml. it generically (for testing) replaces plains, but you can rename the file and create xml for it if you want. it can be found here (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=170892)

enjoy

Currently I'm using this as the Space terrain for my solar system mod. It doesn't matter that it has blocky edges when used as land domain ocean, because I WANT blocky edges. However, I am slightly color impaired. It looks good to me, but is it really all that space like?
