Just been reading the guid, and it looks like it wants the game to be installed on the machine in question. This is a problem for me as I don't have a DVD drive in my server - is there a work-around?

You can try coping the files , but i still think u need to install

No disk required to run PB , it only needs the Civ4 files to control the AIs (you can delete sound and art files)

try sharing the dvd drive on the network. And install from there.
