I was wondering if there was any way possible where I can see Barb Cities on my map?

Yeah. If you explore territory and run into a barb city, it will show up on your map.

Not the map in the bottom right corner. There won't be anything shaded black, no matter how many barbarian cities there are. Same with the recap movie at the end; the barb cities will not show until they're captured.
