P.S. : i don't have enough time to make a tutorial which learn to newbies how to insert a building file in a mod. If somebody have time and motivation, it will be very useful. Thanx

Maybe a modern workshop or a shopping centre ;)
Padmewan May 16, 2006, 09:39 AM jojoweb -- I came up with this thought in another thread: can SimCity4 buildings be imported into Civ4 format? There are a lot of custom buildings that I see in their community exchange. Unfortunately, I can't d/l any as I don't own SimCity 4 so I can't tell if they use .NIFs or whatever.
jojoweb May 16, 2006, 12:34 PM No, it's not possible for the moment. I have tried to do it with sim city 4 and sim city 3k buildings, but i did'nt succeed. For sim city 4, possibilities are not closed, i don't have the game, so i don't know what the buildings kit contains, but my tests without the buildings kit failed.

SimCity 3 was 2D so I imagine it'd be impossible to import. However, SimCity 4 is supposedly 3D so there's a sliver of hope... Maybe we should chip and buy you a copy so you can try it? It's running ~$15 on eBay...
jojoweb May 17, 2006, 01:04 PM I don't like Sim city 4, it will be bad to buy it ^_^.
But i think that we must ask something what the buildings kit allow us to do. If the kit provided with the game contain good export tools, i will buy it, not before ;-).
