Napoleon Bonaparte Animated Leaderhead v 1.2

Made By: ccm01

Description:
This modification replaces Joan D'Arc with Napoleon Bonaparte as the leader of France. Only the PCX and FLC files have been changed. If you desire to use this modification, you will have to edit the civ3mod.bic yourself to change the French leader's name to Napoleon Bonaparte. The facial expression changes are very subtle, but are accurate reflections of the leader's mood. I also opted to not make modifications to the images to represent the four different time periods in the game (this will come later if I become more motivated).

Installation:
Please back up your files before using this. If you blow up your machine after installing this, don't blame me (as you were advised to back up your files). To use, simply extract and copy the contents of the archived folders into the corresponding folders in the Civilization III\Art directory (i.e. Napoleon\Advisors\JO_all.pcx to ...\Civilization III\Art\Advisors) and say "Yes" to overwrite the existing files.

You can download it here:

Hope you enjoy.

Hi, your gfx look excellent, however, I have enourmous trouble to unpack those *ace files. I use PowerArchiver6.0 (which supports ace files, according to its readme), but I only get empty folders...:(

Do you know a good freeware ace unpacker that runs fine with Win2k? Or could you provide your work as simple zip file too?

There is a link from the main page of my site to download WinAce, which is the shareware program I used to pack the files. It is at the bottom of the first, main page.

I just clicked on the Ace "extract" button and it was done. Then I just pasted it in. Easy. And Napoleon looks great!

What we need most is a RAMSES II head to replace Cleopatra - and I don't mean Yul Brynner! :D

Dude - check the final url: it's a 404! The site has moved. Instead of insulting the artist, why don't you get it off Dustin's site: http://www.civ3files.com.

Jeez. and how about a little civ-ility, while you're here.
