Ok guys, I played it and sent it. Wasn't anything to do except to heal the warrior. Research is for Ag (4 turns) and building a worker (7 turns).

My thought is that we definately need to get some gold coming in. We need Pottery fast, then I would suggest Mining and then BW. I think we're definately facing a bunch of guys that will stike us down fast.

Whatever we do, we definately need Pottery to start building some money makers for us. We have only 1 gold coming in, and it's from our city. I think we also need to start thinking about getting a Settler up and running as well. The flood plains up north look might tempting. Has anyone else looked at the save? This was my first time.

We do need more gold, but I think working the sea resource will be a good start. Cottages take time to grow, so if we make some now they'll be productive sooner. OTOH we might want to just irrigate all we can around the capital to mas produce settlers and workers.
On second thought, I think we might want to put our cottages on the floodplains when we get a city there.

I think we can hold off on cottages until we get the floodplain city, and use our capital more as a growth city.

Yes, I agree with Veera. Growth is better longterm, and those floodplains look like a tax mine! lol

I'm ready to pick turn player back up.

How many turns till the next election?

According to our government structure elections are every 50 turns for UN rep and every 30 turns for all other positions. Currently we are in turn 20, so 10 more turns. But we could hold them sooner if there is a need...

10 turns isn't long. I would recomend waiting it out.

I'm not trying to get out of office, just don't want to overrun the "scheduled" time. ;)
