I haven't found this with the search fonction, and i did not find a request thread either, which is why i post this.

I would like to request a scenario for the 1754-1759 conquest of New-France by the brittish's 13 colonies. My mapping skills suck and all, but i could help by ginving real maps and information of the events if needed...

Well, there are alot of units already in Civ3 for that time period, and scenario making is pretty easy. If you want to try it yourself, check out Plotinus' Tutorial (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=149597) (it seems a bit challenging, but it's actually pretty easy, :).

Isn't that the French and Indian Wars?

If so, here is one by LouLong.Last of the Mohicans a.k.a. French and Indian Wars (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=165929)

... Or the American part of the 7 years war?

We need a 7 Years war scenario. The first ever World War! Fighting on the 3 continents of Europe, North America, and Asia should suffice as a world war. (What to call it? WW0.5 possibly? ;) )

The French and Indian War is the Colonies participation in the 7 years war and I believe that scenario was recently released.

Indeed, it is the French and Indian Wars, I just never knew it by that name. Though yes Bluemofia, i was more interested of the american side of the war, 1754-1759. 13 civs for the 13 different colonies, 1 for New France, and then the natives of course. Would just need a map of Eastern half of North America, just enough to have all of New France (and the 13 colonies).

The scenario pointed out looks good though, might DL it. Thanks.

New france was vast. It was a good chunck of modern eastern Canada, along with a good chunck of the US (like lousiana). Got their asses kicked by the english for the french king held little interest for the colony...

I agree whole heartedly. The World at War, 1754 would make a great scenario.

Anyone familiar with the Sharpe's Rifles novels?
They're set in this time period and cover most of the globe, even North America. I've been thinking they just might make a great series of scenarios.

The Sharpe novels take place during the Napoleonic Wars; much later than what the OP is proposing.

OOppppss....!!!!
Right you are. Saw the references to world war and didn't read any more.
So, we could say there have been perhaps 4 world wars.

The Thirty Years' War was probably the first thing close to a world war...
