Hi, I have been modding Civ 3 Conquests for a while now so I think I know what I am doing but there is a massive issue perhaps someone can help me with.
I made a huge mod ages ago which has been tested to death and everything in it works, so I am well aware of why something might crash.
Now I have gone back to changing the mod and Conquests will not accept any of my changes. For example, I have made a new leaderhead for Rome. I have called the diplomatic Rome pictures 'Rome_ALL', told the Pediaicons txt exactly where to find the file. The file itself is named exactly right and is not corrupt in any way. Yet when loading the mod, the game crashes saying 'could not find Art/Advisors/Rome_ALL.pcx'. This is despite the fact that the file is there, named correctly.
So the issue seems to be that Conquests will not accept any changes to the mod in any way and I wondered if there are some file issues I am not aware of that someone can point out.
Also, I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, and have tried it with and without the patch so that doesn't seem to be the issue.
Thanks in advance, Xerxes.
