Heya

I was wondering if its possible to scale all of civ4 more down.
Even when I use 1600*1200 it doesnt seem to show me as much of the world, as I would like.

Im quite unsure how scaling works, but would be neat if you could get more stuff on the screen =)

what do you mean? do want stuff smaller?
I know how to make a few things small (units, bonuses etc.), but Im not sure about the terrain and things :hmm:

Cannot you just adjust the camera setting to get a view a bit further away to include more stuff on screen? That's how I solved the problem...

Use the ingame zoom.

If stuff is too small when you zoom out, then buy a bigger screen.

The Blue Marble Graphics pack comes with a Scaler utility that is seperate from the terrain installer. I am not sure if you can point it to a specific mod or not, but it does work in vanilla. There are a number of scaling options there that may be of interest to you.

Cheers!

Ugh, I realise that my earlier post was pretty much not clear. What I meant was to go and edit the files that affect the camera distance etc. and modify them to show you a bit more of the land...

Hmmm - I supose you could change the camera angle so that it showed more. Might look a bit weird.
