Nothing has gone right for me so far this week, why start now...:lol:

The fertility tech is awesome...not exactly sure how it could be used, though.

Great job on it, however!!

Fertility? As an ancient religious tech, it could be used as "mother earth"...

The 3 that stood out the most to me were Utah,Ares,and Spacer. I narrowed it down to the styles of Utah and spacer then went with the overall wider range of usability of spacer's smelting. :clap: Great job guys I had a really hard time picking.

Hmm... I wanted to vote for Rambuchan's but the graphic looks a little blurry or something. So my vote goes to Utahjazz. Perfectly blended fore and background, nice contrast and clean lines.

This vote is tricky, but mine goes for Medieval Armour, which I think successfully puts an authentic-looking image into Civ icon format. Very nice.

I voted for Rambuchan's Lingum Worship because I felt it best expressed the concept of the tech. On the basis of artistic merit, I was impressed by Civinator's Gunpowder, Vawrnos' Mass Transport, and Ares De Borg's Pottery. Congratulations to all the participants for some spactacular entries.

I think the high number of quality tech icons has created a very tight competition this month. With 34 voters so far, and the top two tied with only 5 votes each, I think every one should feel good about their creations. :clap:

indeed, all 3 comp.s are running very close this month. That can't be a bad thing!

I am glad that my nomination doesnt seem likely to win this month, because i only spent two minutes making it (the models of the cars were in the prgram i used). Effort should be a parameter ;)

Tons of great choices, but the Siege Craft stands out for me.

It seems four people have voted for me, yet none seem to want to admit it.

I hate to say it, but I voted "randomly" I picked the 5 I liked, closed my eyes and clicked until I got one of em(Ramb's)...The pick was too hard this time...

as far as "work put into the icon" being a testimonial of its potential for votes(@ Varwnos) most of them are cut -n- paste or conversion from simple pics from the internet...very few(yours, mine, Goldflash's I think, Utahjazz(?)) are actual "original creations"...but that doesnt mean they arent as good/better...for example, the smelting I did, isnt that great(everytime I look at it, I see the corners I cut to get it done)and Im surprised (in this field of competition) that it even got one vote...

Looks like I just pushed Utahjazz7's "Fertility" out in front.

I was torn between this and both Storm Grunt's "Amphibious Tanks" and Badkharma's "Advanced Recon", which I think are very striking and useful icons. However, my shady affiliations with the old skool eras of civ persuaded me to vote for "Fertility", a crucial tech if ever there was one.

Aside from all that, I look forward to adding Goldflash, Varlin and Darque's tech to my mod.

Well, shortly after I entered this one, i realized that although the forums were now pumping out units, leaderheads and graphics at an amazing rate, they were being released for the wrong reason. As such, I will probably not be participating in any of these contests. I will, however, continue making graphics. :D
