Well then, I might as well use this post to reference all the 2D art that I make/have made and that could be used in this mod.

So for folks who missed it, these were made by request for a mod that seems to be no longer in development. I think many of these could work very nicely in WHFB and they can be modified to look very differently - some hue and color adjustments, a copy/paste here and there, and you got yourself a brand new button. The sample pics and the downloads are available right on the first post of the thread.
Ploeperpengel Jun 14, 2006, 03:11 PM Yeah sure. That'll be useful. Also whatever else you think could be of use. There's plenty of room here so Lets create a nice graphiclibrary for us. You can also link all units you made or like to suggest to include in a thread here(maybe the WIP or one of your own). I will one after another put the links in the unitdesignthread. There are so many units planned it will be impossible to keep track of them without such an effort I fear.

I donīt get CTD because of diploinfo - cIV only points out the problem but I can play anyway (just have to click OK for about 12 times or so), but I donīt know what other files you have in the mod, that I donīt.

Looks like something isn't being initialized. Do you have any python code that runs on "end turn"? You might also want to check your XMLs. Somebody mentioned recently (possibly on this forum) that order of XMLs is important and obviously one XML file can't use/reference an object that's created in another XML that hasn't been loaded yet, what I'm getting at is, maybe you did something with XMLs that somehow messes up the order or creation of object.

I really can't say. I didn't change any python so I don't know. I'll try Duke's xml tomorrow and if it turns out to be the same problem I think I still just work on that xml I got and we'll have to try to find that bug in the playtestweek.:confused:
I really didn't change anything that would affect the order by which any files are called at least anything I can think of. Duke maybe you? I noticed you had some pythonfiles in one of the assets.
Duke van Frost Jun 20, 2006, 02:51 AM Tha only Python file I had in there was the Religionscreen and that was because of the longer names of the religions, they needed mor space, so that the names didnīt overlap - only graphical changes.
I donīt get the CTD when I go right into the worldbuilder with the XMLīs I got.
I get the CTD with your XMLs.
Then I tried to overwrite any files of your XML with my ones, but only if my were newer. I still got the CTD. Whowever, I couldnīt check what was changed in them, because my evaluationperiod for ExamXML expired.

Any progress on nippon, cathay, ind and araby? We can leave the chinaflag imo for now but the rest is crap.

Ind can have a stylized elephant.
Nippon can have a stylized sun emblem
Cathay can have an asian dragon (but not the vanilla china for the final, need them all to be original;) )
Araby... not sure, maybe a lamp (as in alladin??)

Nope no teamcolor yet but the norse can have if you prefer. I wouldn't have a problem with that. The norse tc is currently a light purple(I don't mean pink, really not:D).

Rabbit, White Jun 28, 2006, 07:21 AM I love the gallery galley (or whatever more accurate name) on the flag, but I gotta be honest about the stripes - they make the whole thing look like pajamas :blush: Maybe go with only two "side" stripes, either vertical or horizontal with the gallery galley slightly smaller and between them, kinda like the Canadian or Israeli flags.
P.S. Er... Duke did you get my PM? Is the silence sign of "no" :) or did you just miss it?
Edit: How the heck did I manage to mispell galley twice in a row!? :confused:

Uups hehe, I think you misunderstood me. I thought the runes were good as deco on the Norseflag but I like it as it is, maybe slightly darker to match with the tc but we can do this in the playtest.:)
Edit: btw the runebuttons are cool. Hope we can use them soon.

I totally forgot about the flag for Kislev. Interested to do it? It's a standing bear on blue ground, a Kislev armybooklet is in GW-online unfortunatly not possible to cut or copy anything from it but there are some pics of banners you might be able to imitate.

Ploe can you tell me what I have to do with flags to make them appear ingame if they donīt have an alpha-channel? I always get a white flag if I donīt apply a black alpha-channel :(
Iīll put the flag and a button for Norsca (with a slightly darker purple also for the flag) in the next patch Iīll be doing - I want to rename all wonders before I upload the next one ;)
And I was wondering about the TeamCoulour for Kislev - Do you want to keep that Orange :confused:
Ploeperpengel Jul 07, 2006, 01:58 PM All flags need to have a black alpha channel if they are supposed to not display teamcolor, if they are supposed to show tc and have a white alpha just set the boolean in the civartdefs to 0;)
The tc for Kislev should maybe be exchanged with the one tilea has. I don't like the flag tilea now has anyway. The original was yellow btw not blue but JP wanted the tilean blue in game and also that flag. Since we got simcuties colortable in we can choose more freely about tc now.

Yes, I had a look at it, btu after I saw the pictures in the Kislev Booklet and the Flags the Unit had in there I decided to go with the bear.

Yeah, I donīt like the HE pic also, had some better ones, but deleted them by accident and now I canīt find them anymore.
