The new beta version of this program is alredy updated to allow selection of both Civ4 and Warlords mods. It is testing.

Civilization IV Launcher v.0.6.0 is realised.

I found a little bug. Mods in the folder My Documents/My Games/Warlords/Mods aren't included in the list of Warlords Mods. It works fine with My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Mods.

Edit: I just noticed that it doesn't work with My Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 4/Mods either.

And I have changed the settings in the launcher, but every time I load the game via the launcher, it resets my settings and launches standard civ4.

You need to choose standart ini file in the settings and use option "Path to save files".

Can you please enlighten on exactly what you mean by this? I am having the same problem where the launcher will not remember the settings I give it(neither under the [Last Settings] profile or a named profile).

This is such a good idea... has the author stopped updating? I have no coding skills (really, none), so I wish someone who has some would pick this up and finish it!

I made a translation into swedish.. which is of dubious value since CivIV isn't translated into swedish. But just for the heck of it.

is there a faq for this launcher?
what does "num lock", "flying camer" and "memory save"
also would like to know what if i set autosave
max amount = 3
interval = 10
so civ4 will autosave my game every 10 minute, and it will save it maximal to three files. on 40th minute the first save will be deleted so there won't be more than 4 save files... right?

I did not try this soft, but I assume that
- numlock means whether to automatically turn on num lock on game startup
- flying camera - allows greater zooming in, different angles
- memory save - the ini file option "memory saver" makes the civ use less memory - at the cost that you can no longer switch applications (Alt-Tab)
- max amount - you got that correct
- interval - not minutes but turns
Basically, these all are ini file options. This launcher apparently provides a GUI (graphical user interface) for simpler modification of the ini file.

I had no problem downloading or opening this program. It has a wonderful interface. My only problem was actually launching Civ4 after making my selections. I get an error message "Unable to write to" even with default settings.
Does this actually work at all? I see nothing in this thread that supports that idea.
