Not at all.

For the record, I voted that it's one of my favourite games. :goodjob:

UK developer, great epic battles, and a hope that eventually Total War and Total Warrior will fuse to create the most epic battle games around.

I enjoyed the battles, but sieges were godawful. The turnbased build aspect didn't quite manage to get me hooked for some reason. After a while i lost interest in commanding the battles and that's when i uninstalled it.
Not a bad game, though. It just didn't click with me.

I still think Shogun was the best of the series. Now if they made a Shogun 2, that would be great.

Well, if you are thinking of buying Rome Total War, why don't you wait a little longer for Medieval 2: Total War?

Media hype. Most people bought it at the beginning because the media was all over it.

Most people I know bought it because they loved the Total War series. Granted, this game got more attention by the media and games magazines, but that was purely a response to the building acclaim of the series.

I expect the same will happen with Medieval 2.

I bought it out of love of Medieval Total War

'Most'. Most people do. I hadn't played any of the Total War games before this one, and hearing about it in magazines was my motivation.
