Cannae Jul 05, 2006, 12:13 PM Is no one going to respond??? Kan' Sharuminar Jul 05, 2006, 12:21 PM Give people time :p Anyway, there's a whole forum for Total War games on CFC, where ye may browse to your hearts content. Total War Forum (http://forums.civfanatics.com/forumdisplay.php?f=194) Cannae Jul 05, 2006, 12:26 PM Thank you very much I needed that. Kan' Sharuminar Jul 05, 2006, 12:32 PM Not at all. For the record, I voted that it's one of my favourite games. :goodjob: Ranbir Jul 05, 2006, 01:49 PM UK developer, great epic battles, and a hope that eventually Total War and Total Warrior will fuse to create the most epic battle games around. steviejay Jul 06, 2006, 03:58 AM one of my favourite games. I just can't get bored of it. didn't like the expansion so much, maybe I just like Phalanxes Godwynn Jul 06, 2006, 11:18 AM its better than Shogun, but I think it gets old. So-so Till Jul 06, 2006, 01:18 PM I enjoyed the battles, but sieges were godawful. The turnbased build aspect didn't quite manage to get me hooked for some reason. After a while i lost interest in commanding the battles and that's when i uninstalled it. Not a bad game, though. It just didn't click with me. Kan' Sharuminar Jul 06, 2006, 01:40 PM its better than Shogun, but I think it gets old. So-so I still think Shogun was the best of the series. Now if they made a Shogun 2, that would be great. Gr3yL3gion Jul 07, 2006, 02:49 AM Well, if you are thinking of buying Rome Total War, why don't you wait a little longer for Medieval 2: Total War? Kan' Sharuminar Jul 07, 2006, 05:33 AM Well, if you are thinking of buying Rome Total War, why don't you wait a little longer for Medieval 2: Total War? Because then he won't have the greatness of Rome: Total War :crazyeye: Dreadnought Jul 13, 2006, 12:46 PM Its good, but I havent played in awhile LLXerxes Jul 17, 2006, 08:25 AM Media hype. Most people bought it at the beginning because the media was all over it. Kan' Sharuminar Jul 17, 2006, 08:37 AM Media hype. Most people bought it at the beginning because the media was all over it. Most people I know bought it because they loved the Total War series. Granted, this game got more attention by the media and games magazines, but that was purely a response to the building acclaim of the series. I expect the same will happen with Medieval 2. Dreadnought Jul 17, 2006, 06:32 PM Media hype. Most people bought it at the beginning because the media was all over it. I bought it out of love of Medieval Total War LLXerxes Jul 18, 2006, 01:34 PM I bought it out of love of Medieval Total War 'Most'. Most people do. I hadn't played any of the Total War games before this one, and hearing about it in magazines was my motivation. |
