just give it some time. i think they're just collecting data to figure out what went wrong and then fixing it accordingly.

I doubt the "rotten scum" at Aspyr will, but luckily I haven't seen too many scurvy pirate-types around here lately, so you are in luck. The nice & friendly Aspyr people are working on a patch to resolve all the problems we can.

Keep in mind that at least a large fraction of the problems were apparently caused by an OS update (botched by Apple) released after the game went gold. It's rather unfair to blame Aspyr for that.

To be fair, I'm fairly certain that the OS update didn't have anything to do with the majority of the problems Mac players are experiencing. I know that's the case for me, I'm running 10.3.9...

Yeah, what's been learned in the last week has indeed rather contradicted that. But at the time, it appeared to be true.
