Why dont we play through Civ's conqests as a series of SG's?

Im back home home right now, but i go back to uni digs tomorro, where i am still sorting out internet stuff. This time it will get off the ground, promise!

I am ok with waiting some days, especially that my computer crashed mysteriously and I can't reinstall anything (unable to write on disk C), but when we start, I don't want to play the first turn for any of the Conquests, because I don't like it and I have the impression that I start it wrong.

Will we be starting with Mesopotamia I assume?

I said I'm interested and repeat so. I'm all for doing tem in order, at a given difficulty level (say Emperor if we start with lesser civs like Persia on RoR, DG if we start big like Rome on RoR). I'd lose interest at lower diffs, but look forward to it all.
