It has never been moded, to my knowledge at least, which is a same since it could antagonise the civ games if it was friendly to being moded.

There are no mods that i am aware of. Daily Imperialist (http://dailyimperialist.strategyplanet.gamespy.com/) is a good site for the game. Maybe someone on the forum there knows about mods.

The problem with Imp1 is that it has very bad graphics :(

Imp2 should have been moded, and it could really use some mods. It is very old too, so the source code should have been released :/
