I searched the forums for topics on this issue, but couldn't find any answers. I was hoping that someone could answer my technical issues or point me in the right direction. I am having trouble with Civilization IV running the latest patch version 1.61.

When I was playing "Play a Scenario - Planet", I could not get past 2200 AD (around that time; not sure exactly) without the game just quitting. There is no error, it just quits when my turn comes up. I tried reloading a save earlier in the game, but I still can't get past that time.

When I was playing "Play Now - Terra", the game ends in a Time Victory after about 15 turns. I have tried doing it over and over, but it always ends. Thanks and please help!

Maybe your windows is screw or not_screw. WHen I first install civ4, I never experiences crash.. When I need to reinstall windows and civ 4 crash occasionally. First I though it was my game, so I update to 1.52, the same problems. I start to think windows is the problem.

these problems have been recurring directly following installation.. i am running xp and i have found no problems with it thus far. Any other ideas?

About 15 turns? Or is it exactly 10?

If the latter then it's because you are attempting to play a pirated copy of the game. Solution: use a genuine and original disk to play beyond a few turns.
