I have looked all over the web and these forums for info on if or when Warlord's will be released for Mac. Anyone know?

Nobody outside Aspyr knows, and nobody inside Aspyr is telling.

For that matter, it may be that nobody inside Aspyr knows. I could very easily believe that they'd wait for more Civ4 sales data before making a decision.

I saw an offhand comment by Brad that suggested that Warlords would be a pain to port because it works at the lowest level of Civilization customisability. And that is the one most tied to Windows. Given that, I would guess that the most accurate answer would be "No time soon, maybe never."

It's certainly not going to happen until they have Civilization IV running properly.

Thanks, guess I will keep playing on boot camp for now.

probably never or certainly not until civ 5 is available for pc.

one of the downsides of mac-land is that they really don't consider you a priority. you have to have a company like Aspyr that makes a business strategy out of providing Mac-users with games to get what you want and companies like Aspyr are comparitively rare.

Wow, I don't remember saying anything like that! I do remember saying that it's more than a simple mod (that is, don't expect to run the PC version by swapping files with the Mac vanilla release). That aside, it'd be easier to port than Civ4 itself, simply because all the heavy lifting is already done.

Just because that's what I heard, doesn't mean that's what you said.

Good to hear that I misheard.
