Granted I just started but I think I can give a little run down
You take control of a country and run it via nation simulator
set national taxes, build power plants, utilize natural resources, create corporations and sports leagues, assign ambassadors and create alliances among nations through the simulation

There are 181 nations all player run (eventually there are like 60 spots left...80 a few weeks ago)

It's just a place holder name till you pick your nations name.
http://www.eshraval.com/politicalMap.php as you can see from the map some names are too big and they do that * with name in the bottom left half of the screen, keep that in mind when you pick a name.

it will effect your game a little but there is a great deal of freedom, in the working, history etc

Player Declarations
Players may not apply for membership under a false identity, particularly if they are already a member of Eshraval. This is grounds for immediate expulsion.
Players must have a verifiable email address for admission into the game.
Players are not required to have instant messaging software, such as AIM or Yahoo!.
Periodic email checks will be made, and players will be required to respond. This will help ensure the viability of all game email addresses and player participation.

I am not sure what you by nation idea byt I'll give you what I used when I applyed

Named after the multi ethnic clans of Elsao, Losman, Titos and
Ayuma that 571 years ago "united" the other 17 tribes under on flag.
This had been done before but, this time each Tribe was allowed to have
allmost complete soverign control over there own land.

Each tribe sends a elected leader (ussually the tribes leader)
to the capital which handles all international affiars. The council
is generally like a paralment.

The united city is run like a tribe with limited or standerdized laws.
There are several acedmeys there with extremly compeditive schools.

Defense: Each tribe has there own garrison that acts in defense of
there own tribe internally only.
There are membersfrom every tribe including united city, generally
each tribe is known for the role they traditonaly filed in the military
for instance the Sombra were once known for being great archers,
and now over 90% of the missle defnse sector is run by them

Second world?
this is true in a way, different tribes are known for different means
of production and they are all interdependent on each other for
example one tribe provides all of the dairy, whilst 6 others all of
the agriculture/live stock - 1 controling the entire telcomunications
systems industry etc etc - even so all of the third world status
tribes (like the rest of them) live in towns with over 2500 Persons
per sq killometer and commun to there respective frams as a tribe on
large buses


all in all even thou within the indivdual tribe it may be fascist-
communist within the united city it tends to be very liberal

So I signed up a long time ago, and when I try and login it still says I need to activate my account with the email they sent me, but I never recieved one, nor is there a link to send it again? Ideas?

it would have been nice to have been told that it would 3-7 days before we would find out if we could play. the message saying to wait for an activation message said that it would arrive "soon"; the word "soon" could apply to many different times, 10 seconds, 10 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours, a day, a few days, a week, next year etc etc

Sorry I was quite aggravated too it took mine 5 days so.. that my best guess atm, I'll raise some cane for you on the boards.
