When i try to play as Arabia or France, I get about 86 turns in (i counted, but i may be off by a bit) and then it says Civ 4 has peformed an illegal operation and must close. So far I've tried France, Arabia (both don't work), Rome, Persia and Russia (all work). I tried Arabia 3 times and the same happaned all 3. France i only tried once. Could be a bug, but I'm not sure.

It happened to me once with Spain. I started again with the same civ and nothing happened... But it is something to definitly look up to.

OK, Can't play as England either. I get the same "has performed an illegal operation, blah, blah, blah" crap with them too. I'm gonna test out some other civs and see if its the case.

I found out that the reason is somehow, the Persian UP and possibly the capital flips in general.

just tried, it works perfectly.

EDIT: no, probably it was connected to the other bug. Shouldn't happen anymore now.

Pretty sure it's just Arabia, France and England, although I've by no means tried all of the civs. Unfortuneatly, those are 3 of my favourite civs. aghhh.

FIXED! You can download 097 now.
