Hi guys,

Kal-El's thread got me excited about showing the wonder splashes I have collected. I am currently waiting on a response from Che Palle about the wonder overlay so I could apply it to the wonder splashes, but here are the basic pictures at least. I have a much larger set that includes the new wonders from my upcoming mod, but I'll post them later. Please don't mind the cut & pastiness of the thumbnail picture, I cut and pasted these specific ones from the larger picture of all the new wonders.

Would it be ok to put these in my mod? these are much better than the originals.

Although Che Palle was our hero some months ago, we've now waited too long for someone to take these boring wonders to the next level. I think if you can't get a response that enables you to use the old overlays, which were outstanding, you should just forge ahead and make new ones. Even if your new overlays were somewhat rudimentary and didn't match the old, I'd install them immediately for the superior images you've selected.

We gotta do something to keep this game fresh and, in the great legacy of Dark Sheer, Plutarck, Gramphos, Snoopy and Che Palle, you're the man to take us there.

I tried making a translucent overlay, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet. Everyone will know asap when I do. I'll post it as well so people can use it with their own wonders, or change it if they change the building effects within their own mod.

Use these in whatever you want! Mix and match with other people's wonders! Knock yourself out!

I can't speak for the other wonder modders, but I use whatever looks the best, and will include those in my mod. For instance I'm gonna snag that apollo program and great wall :) I already use Elucidus' statue of liberty in my Triad mod. If I used someone else's wonder splash I've been trying to keep track so I can give them a nod in my readme. For instance a lot of these were from Haven, whiterabbit, elucidus, thomsonlau, and others. If you see a name in the bottom right, that was the person I grabbed it from. The rest were taken from a google image search and a few other places.
