Here I will help you decide...

I am a stay at home dad for a 2 year old and a 4 year old. I am so bored I have 8 multiplayer game going, a hattrick team and a cycling champ team. I am also playng the demo game, the MTDG, the SGOTM and the ISDG. I addition I do wood working as a side "job" and for fun. I am married my wife workd and is gone about 9 to 10 hours a day. OH and if I had a real job...I would have even more time for thigns like this...kids keep you busy.

You wont hurt my feeling to vote for me....I did.

/this is what I get for sending back PBEM saves 10 minutes after I get them huh...

Stay at home Dad? Thats adorable!

BTW Being a dad makes you smarter (http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=mg19125615.400)

And this is an invalid poll because there is no abstain!

BTW Being a dad makes you smarter

But the article suggets that as the young become more independent the less receptors we have for vasopressin.

So I should have my wife spitting out a kid once every year or so? (cause I don't think she would like that.) (Then again, I dont have a wife. oh well.)

Well, Rob, you seem to have done most of the work for me, but since we seem to be arguing the opposite way to the polls directive:

Getting my post in at #8 indicates I have more of a life, doesn't it? ... well, that I live on the other side of the Pacific, anyway. ;) Kids... I don't even have a pet. I spent a bit of time in hospital recently and thought I'd take the opportunity to quit my boring job, and go back to school, where I do a weighty workload of 6 hours/ week face to face. Most of my other time is spent feeling guilty about how much study I should be doing.

I am in IS/MT/DG but cannot match your other multiplayer activity. Although, I have been browsing thru Robs, Tubby, and Whomps forums, and it looks good, so count me in if you need another in the future. (Hmm... watching others play MP instead of doing it myself - I'm a CiV wallflower!)

I have no life, so i checked the PPD for everyone in this thread. :mischief:

classical_hero - 8.02
azzaman333 - 7.92
BCLG100 - 6.09
ybbor - 5.18
Sweetacshon - 1.77
robboo - 1.76
ice2k4 - 1.18
croxis - 0.72

Therefore, out of our options, Sweetacshon has less of a life.

Ha.. I just noticed that I haven't voted yet. It kind of reminds me of the Blackadder ep where Baldrick was telling a story about the time he went for a job as village idiot, and he'd made it down to the last 2, so it was down to the interview. He didn't get the job, because he turned up. :)

What's an ht-friendly?

Happy B'day ice! I have no idead about yr age... 43?

robboo
Jul 28, 2006, 08:20 AM
accepted...yep very new..played 1 game.( won 7-1). I waited till now so I can get in at the end of the season. Seemed better than starting in a new season and being frustrated with losses.

I picked up a decent team in last place of course( no regulation--bottom league)...hope to pick up a few guys and make a run at a few wins next season. Maybe even compete in the top half of the league and of course compete in the CDZ cup too.

Heh, I come from Brooklyn, New York, so if you heard me speak in real life I doubt you'd understand much.

You may underestimate how much we hear the NY area accent ('specially those of us who've seen most of Woody Allen's catalogue). When I was in NY last year I think I managed most folk - apart from teh subway announcers. What is with them? I never understood a single word of an announcement - apart from the one guy who sounded like Barry White, "This is the lurve train. We're goin' downtown all the way tonight, baby" :D

If you want imprenetrable accents, visit the home of English :) I tend to post in a more americanised English here, but a few years ago I met up with a friend locally (in Yorkshire, where I'm from) who had an American visitor (from the mid-west I think). I only found out later that the American had confessed to my firend that she'd understood less than half of what I'd said :(

And there are regions a lot more difficult to understand than Yorkshire...

I hope you don't think Woody Allen has a bad accent. He's Jewish. I'm italian. The Italian Brooklyn accent is unbearable to some people.

Fuhgedaboudit :P

Oh and btw, noone in Brooklyn understands the subway announcers. It's just the voice quality blows.
