I just downloaded a patton tank unit from the library and when it attacks in the game the animation and sound speed is set too fast. It looks and sounds like a machine gun. How do I change the speed so that it acts correctly?

On the .ini there is a speed number. I think decreasing it will make it slower, but don't quote me.

Find the .ini file in the patton tank folder, and change the speed number. I think it should be 50000. If it's higher than that, you have to decrease it.
And did you say that the tank looked like a machine gun?

I think he ment that its rate of fire was so fast that it gave the impression that it was firing like a machine gun. I think he also was trying to say that the sound rate was too fast that it sounded like a machine gun firing as well.

I thought the speed in the .INI file adjusts how fast the unit moves from one square to another, not the animations themselves...

In Civ3FlcEdit, adjust the frame delay so it's way longer.

That's if you push the Caps Lock button on/off.
