I have a new pc and I reinstall civ and the nif viewer and the nif viewer do not work anymore.

It said that the **''renderer creation failed'' .

I make a quick search on the board and I found that I'm not the only one that have this problem but no solution was found.

I think it's a video card problem, but I already have the lastest drivers.

My video card is a ATI RAEDON x1800 XT

Roland, my heart bleeds for you ;). I can't really help, but perhaps you should adjust you video-card options?

Maybe you could try and uninstall the video drivers and then reinstall them?

i got this comp. 4 months ago, and another comp. works w/Scene viewer (the comp. that works is older than mine)

That sucks pretty bad that the newest computers won't work with this stuff. That pisses me off really really badly since I've had my share of this type of problem. Sorry I have nothing good to contribute. The only thing I can think of is that the nif viewer is somehow not compatible with the new version of the computer but I don't know.

You can use nifskope if nifviewer do not work. It's similar.
