I always wondered if the same people who play Civ III are the same people who play Halo for PC...

Personally I didn't particularly like PC Halo. Just too simplistic and easy for a PC shooter. As a console game (and for the split screen action) it was good fun though.

I played and almost completed Halo I on a console, my cousin took it back while I was destroying the ship on the end level, bar steward! Excellent game and I'd recomend it on the PC although I haven't got round to buying it, non stop gunishment and many: oh my friggin christ there's millions of them moments:eek: :) particularly the flood levels, come get some!:)

EDIT: shame didn't make the transition well to PC Kan' Sharuminar, nm.

I rented Halo for PC a couple of month ago, in order to finally play the game which received so much praise.
Wasn't too impressed, however. There was no thrill whatsoever to be gained from it for me.

Open spaces and shooter just don't go too well with another, in my opinion. And if i want to steer cars with guns, i play Have a Nice Day. ;)

It's different with a PC, because designers can do so much more, because they dont have the gamepad to constrain them.

Like in Half Life 2, the gravity gun. Such a device would be far more difficult to use without the accuracy of a mouse.

I have Halo for PC and I play multiplayer often its so fun :). Look for my specially modded server usually called something like "Mod Testing with TheDeadMan" and check it out! I changed a lot of things!
