Hi guys:

Well, I made an overlay and am going to begin applying it to my wonder screens. I'll start with the old wonders so everyone can use them. Here are the first two. The images are from Elucidus.

Give me feedback! Grar! If a ton of people want me to use Che Palle's overlay, I'll do the wonders with that instead of my own.

See attached for the pcx files. I'll try and post another zip every six wonders, so check back with this thread periodically.

really like these images a lot. If I'm not mistaken some of these are new, art of war, heroic epic (which I really like and don't see a reason to change), magellan's voyage, iron works (very nice) and shakespears theater, can you post these without the overlay because I will probably use them but give them different values in my mod.

Cant you sum them up on one? sorry for the "whatever-im-being" issue (i dont speak a perfect english). other from that... where did you get those images...? bc they seem like 3d stuff (some at least)

some were from http://apolyton.net/haven/webshots.html and a few were from http://www.irtc.org/index.html a couple were from whiterabbit and two were from elucidus (he works on the balancer mod) and the rest were found by surfing the internet. The SDI graphic I had to modify from the original (I had to add more stars and I removed the USA sticker off of the station). I can't make them all one download unless the moderators from apolyton or from civfanatics decide the host the file. I think that is what you are asking. Anyways, if it was all one file it would be just under 2.3Mb.

.dk is Denmark and I couldn't find a complete file here that's why I asked if you could mail it to me and I have it now so thank you very much.

I did my part for the forum files. My images are on my own server for the most part.

I'm getting a "could not open local file" error. Can't download. ???

Um, I have a problem, the Aor tof War you posted here and the one in the zip are two different things and I was wondering if you mby made two and posted teh wrong one or I don't know what happened but I didn't get this pack for some reason.

The Art of war is the wonder screen shot from Civ II Test of Time......

Anyone taking over an update for Conquests?

I made this update to the Wonder Splash Background.

It goes in the wonderspash folder under the Civ III art.

C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Art\Wonder Splash

I am not capable of updating the splashes myself as I do not have the right editing programs. I used a combination of Microsoft Photo Editor and Microsoft Paint to make this one.

I think I'll have to invest in Photoshop.

If I go to this URL I can find the file I uploaded but and can click and download it back.

I like the mod. :)

I was able to make all the mods on Paint and then paste them onto the pcx format with Microsoft Photo Editor.

I was able to finish and test the first splash for Conquests.

I will try to strategically place the text so it won't block the picture if possible, so text may be top or bottom depending on picture.

I show culture per turn, show whether the wonder can become tourist attraction (TA) and highlight the Civ characteristics that may trigger a golden age.

This may take awhile before I can get on a roll, but I now do intend to work on all the other splashes.

Again, this would go in the CIV III wonderspalsh folder.
