...are not "none" apparently. :(

My apologies - I thought I had set this. I will investigate and update the description on the web-page tonight.

OK - looks like I got hit with the bug where if you don't start a game with the exact settings that you want, before importing the game in from the editor, you get the "last game" settings. In this case, that means raging barbs, but 'normal' AI aggression.

My apologies. :(

With the interaction of the new thread subject and and first line of the first point, you might get the idea that nothing is amiss... :p

No - all saves are the same.

Okay. So now I'm thoroughly confused. Is the AI super-aggressive or not?

No. I will update the release page - but I don't have access to my PC with FTP access at the moment.

The mods are playing psychological tricks I tell you! We were all a-fluster worrying about the heavy boys and their piles of free units with no barbs to chase, and now we're back to normal settings, and I can't remember if I'm supposed to play cautiously or confidently or what :crazyeye:.

That was a bit spoilerish - removed.

This was the time when I finally found the courage to try to play against others, and I played China for a few games with the advertised settings. It was really tough, I'm a Monarch player at best and was hit by misfortune and stupidity time after time. But I learnt a lot.

So now the settings are changed. Is that for better or worse? I think the latter.

No barbarians means no goodyhuts and slower techpace, now with barbarians and goodyhuts I feel doomed already, especially raging barbarians. They will probably kill me before the other Civs does. :(

But I liked the starting picture and will give it a try...

Wish me luck.

Well, look at it this way, all your units should be either dead or elite!

Dead I know, but..

What's an elite?:crazyeye:

poodleboink, an elite is a unit with 5 hit points on its bar. You get more hit points by winning battles, and the highest rank is elite-(killing about 3 barbs as China with 1 unit will probably make it elite.)

Ainwood, if we already started the first game, and you reset the barbs and aggression levels, do we get to play that one? Maybe you should just do a whole new COTM??

He's not changing it.

The game is going to be played with raging barbs and normal aggression.

The Raging barbs do make up for the lack of really agressive AI at the start, so it does balance itself out a bit.

As Abegweit stated - I didn't change the saves. All people are playing the same game - with raging barbs and normal aggression for the AI.
