Prestidigitator Aug 02, 2006, 08:12 AM Enlightened Answer: would you try it first? ;) Gunner Aug 02, 2006, 08:15 AM Not at all. It would crash, burn, and pilllage all in its path. But go ahead if you don't believe me ... V. Soma Aug 02, 2006, 09:42 AM Gunner, so you want us give a theoretical answer? :D ...for if it is sooo dangerous, no one will give it a real try ;) Gunner Aug 02, 2006, 10:48 AM It wouldn't work at all. I don't know how to phrase it better than that :) A .dll from Vanilla doesn't work with Warlords. The source code would have to be updated. Then there's also the matter of all of the python and xml probably having little things which need to be updated too. Lachlan Aug 02, 2006, 11:27 AM Rhye should update his mod since the fact is everybody has warlord ... And update sdk or xml should be a piece of cake after a patch Example : Time D Day : Warlords is 1.00 version Time J + 15 : Rhyes has updated his mod for Warlords Time J + 30 : Patch Warlords 1.20 arrives Time J + 35 : Rhyes release a new version for 1.20 It's a fact that all the mods are updated a few days after the patch Rhye Aug 02, 2006, 01:02 PM Warlords version will come after this one is complete. It's already 1.0 but will be considered complete when the to-do list is empty. So, if you want it earlier, we might drop some of the features (partisans, plague, religions differentations,...) Lachlan Aug 02, 2006, 03:09 PM Rhye you could in first time take the features of warlords and the placment of the extra civs I would like play Carthage |
