Jake765 Aug 04, 2006, 03:48 AM Yes, I am controlling all the Civs in Hotseat I'll now to Pic Updates Every ten turns. Scores every five turns and any major events. I hope you enjoy!
Jake765 Aug 04, 2006, 04:10 AM Raynoferge ranked people in five catergories before adding them up to make a final score!
Top Five
1st=Genghis Khan (50)

What people are building:
Everyone is building a warrior except Asoka who is building a monument and Huayna who is building a Que-Cha.

Jake765 Aug 04, 2006, 04:49 AM Raynoferge was impatient so,in 3600BC, he did his calculations for scores again.

Jake765 Aug 04, 2006, 05:17 AM It was 3600BC and now Raynoferge wanted an in-depth analysis of all nation's starting off with the Greeks led by Alexander.:king:

http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/4371/zoomedoutfl3.png (http://imageshack.us)
Alexander was anxious to find people around him so he had spent most of the 400 years scouting the surrounding area for fellow leaders and had found Churchill a semi-weak nation to the north along a long narrow penninsula. Alexander was nice to Churchill, for now, but always knew at one point he would turn againt him. Alexander had started off knowing how to cage and trap animals (Hunting) and how to harvest and traverse the sea (Fishing) but had his scientists how to kill people with a bow and arrow (Archery) and was gifted spiritual enlightenment by fellow villagers (Mysticism) but was researching how to breed land animals (Animal Husbundary). Alexander first built a warrior as defense but now is building a barracks to train the armies he is going to raise.Raynoferge was impressed.
Next Raynoferge went next for the weakest nation under the weak leadership of Asoka.
http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/7886/zoomedoutyw9.png (http://imageshack.us)
Asoka was very weak he was nearly there into researching a new faith. Asoka was very defensive and hadn't scouted at all and was building a monument to the new religion get his people's spirits up.
On to Ceaser...Raynoferge thought.

Darwin420 Aug 09, 2006, 10:04 AM Great attempt. Maybe this one will go somewhere.
I play games like this all the time, but I keep it on standard maps and no more than 13/14 Civs - and it takes a LONG time. I have an overactive imagination, and write the stories in my head. Maybe one of these days I'll have the time to chronicle one of these games and post it up here.
Good luck! I look forward to reading this.
Lord_Iggy Aug 10, 2006, 02:28 AM Yay! I love these stories.
And I don't have Warlords, so this is fun to watch.
Lord_Iggy Aug 10, 2006, 01:16 PM It's fun watching the game from an omniscient point of view unscratchedfoot. You don't have to complain or mock if you don't like it.
Mahatmajon Aug 11, 2006, 02:20 PM I hereby pledge to send $5 via Paypal to the OP if this game is played to finish (with no cheats, no early kills w/o obvious defense, etc. & with continued write ups including cropped pictures)
Fun idea, but (no offense) it's crazy to try with 18 civs. Maybe you should do it with just the new Warlords civs or the new Warlords civs + new Warlords leaders. Of course, if everyone else chips in $5 it may take you 6 months but you'd be richer!
(note: The pledge is recinded if this is against forum rules or if I deem that you 'broke the spirit' of the pledge)
My votes on Asoka. I love an underdog.
ainwood Aug 14, 2006, 03:22 PM unscratchedfoot - We are getting very tired of your behaviour on our forums. You came into this thread, not to contribute, but to troll. In fact, I am struggling to see what worthwhile 'contributions' you are making to the forums as a whole.
Improve you posting, or don't post at all.
Lord_Iggy Aug 14, 2006, 04:36 PM Thank you Ainwood.
unscratchedfoot Aug 17, 2006, 09:58 PM People are allowed to say their opinions, even on this website. At least that's what the forum rules say and we're supposed to go by the rules right? This is not trolling and that word is waaaaaaay overused on this website for any post that doesn't agree with the herd and the 'high minded' moderators. And my opinion is that a long list of pictures of new cities just isn't interesting. Nothing Lord_Iggy or ainwood says will ever make it exciting. I'm sorry I'm not like you. I like fun, fresh ideas and creativity. Again, this is not trolling. I'm telling you my opinion, as allowed. If opinions aren't allowed, add that to the rules and set an IQ limit of 80.
MSTK Aug 17, 2006, 11:13 PM Great job Jake. Watching everything from different perspectives always gets me.
However...I might sugegst limiting the number of Civs? I think ti's nice when you get to know each and every div in and individual and almost personal way (kind of like the main characters of a book), but it's hard to do that with 18 Civs =/
So, Lord_Iggy. You're a veteren of CivIII stories too, right? I'm really excited at this enw concept that seems to have picked up soem speed in the Civ IV Story forum. I don't remember any story of this kind back in the ol' days of Civ III stories. Odd. It's nice to see that the old dog of non-mechanical AAR's (ie, true story reports) can still learn new tricks.
