Today I wanted to load up Civ III again, but I noticed I had already uninstalled it for some reason. So, I tried to reinstall it, but the first time I tried, I had the screen split in two, with the top half switch with the lower half of the screen. I unistalled it, but now I get an error message about 18% way when I try to reinstall it.:(

It says access is denied on this one sound file. This has never happened before, and I was wondering ifanyone had a solution?

Use the search function in your start up menu and put in CIV, Civilization, or whatever and delete everything (that has to do with the game, be careful not to delete things which could mess your comp).

I find sometimes some files dont get unistalled and when you try and reinstall it, it gets tripped up on the files that are still there.

EDIT- Could also be that your disc is just old and doesnt work anymore.

Alright, I can install it now, but the screen error isn't going away.
