Last night, I was looking at my preferences, and I tinkered with a couple of them. When I got out of preferences, all of my units moved amazingly fast. Fast moves and fast battles. I went back into preferences to see if there was a "fast moves" button. There was not. I think I reset everything the way I'd had it. No luck. I even went back & looked to see if there was a "reset to default" button, but couldn't find one. Any clue as to what I might have hit or how to correct this problem? It's Civ3 Conquests, fully patched. As always, thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Sounds like you turned off Animated Moves/Battles.

If you have caps-lock on that happens too.

That's right. Turning on CapsLock is the same as holding shift down. Which speeds up the moves while it's pressed.

I'll bet it was the Caps Lock. Yes, I had tinkered with antimated battles, but I went back and double-checked that one. It seemed like a likely suspect. At any rate, all's running fine now. Thanks.
