Realistic WW2 shooter. I am not good at telling but seriously, it's free from the 2nd of August to the 7th, so try it out! You can downlaod it for free via Steam.

It certainly is much more realisitc than the other WW2 games, er, I suck at saying how so see for yourself!

I am Maniacal_Pencil in case you see me.

I REALLY suggest looking at the controls in the configuratino menu and remap any keys that are not in good palces (liek the I key is the default for aiming down the scope :crazyeye:)

It's $25 US for the full game if you buy it on the net.

It's $40 CAD in stores.

Also, I HIGHLY recommend watching the tutorial movies as they are VERY helpful in giving you the basics, you can downlaod them from the Red Orchestra site or on Steam.

ALWAYS use cover, aim down the scope, rest the weapon on say, a wall, tanks have only a few places where hits won't bounce off so look at the plans on the site to fine out where the soft spots are.

Thank you so much Prince Scamp, I would not have known about the free trial if not for this, and I really want to know if this game is one I want to buy :goodjob:

No problem, I should have posted it sooner. I was wondering why there wasn't a thread already.

Very realistic game, I keep forgetting to reload my rifle after each shot. And I'm terrible at killing folk.

It is tempting to buy though...

After a few hous you should get the hang of it. I wouldn't mind buying it, but my mom hates the killing people part.
*sigh* Lousy having to use credit cards over the net.

ROFL! That's brilliant!

And true. One reason why Nerdom is a male dominated society.
