I will be on a trip and may be unable to play from 8/11 thru 8/18. Please designate a backup in case I'm unavailable. :)

I *can* pick the save up, but as I've been mostly inactive due to other concerns.. I don't think I'll be the best person to do it. If no one else can, then I guess we won't have much of a choice though, will we?

Still, if I have to.. I would prefer if someone whos been here the entire time can hold my hand through it. Don't want to screw anything up :).

Turns out I can play turns for this.

I'll borrow this thread to apologize for my absence. We just moved from an apartment to another and didn't have an internet connection for 5 weeks or something.

Innovia, you need to designate a backup turn player and play when DaveShack hasn't. 48 hours without an explaination is not a good thing.

What about this: Dave is our normal player but if he hasn't played in 12/18 hours, anyone else can catch it, but he has to post Playing... (the ... is for the character limit :p) in the turn tracker, then he can edit his post to played and sent after he has played and sent.

Edit: I think posting in the turn xx/xx thread is better, as some players are subscribed to the turn tracker and will get an annoying e-mail just 30 minutes to early.

A standing backup would be nice. :)

Soon, it would be good to have instructions from the people ahead of time too... :mischief:

So to make this work we'll need:

-instructions about where to move units, what to build, what to research.
-Designated Backup Player(s)

I could be a designated Backup player (I've had to back-up one time before and it went ok). But I don't want to be the only because I can't be here 24/7 because of real-life and time-zones. So it would be better if we had several backups.
Anyone else volunteering?
