Warlords crashes whenever I turn the grid on. What's up with that? Does anyone else have this problem?

I too have this problem.
My workaround has been to lower the resolution from 1280x1024 to 1152 x 864. I have the most current NVIDIA drivers and a 7800 GT.
No problems with vanilla CIV4 as this crash only happens with Warlords.

Interesting. I have a 7900GT and the most current drivers.

Edit: Changing my resolution didn't work.

No, jokes aside-I had the same problem, too! When starting the game, everything was quite o.k. , but suddenly the game crashed in the moment, the grid was turned on (after 2 hours of gaming or so)-happened several times! :eek:

After the great joy at the grandiose add-on, especially at the beautiful starting screen, I was really overhelmed by the expansions over-all excellence :vomit:

My pragmatic solution: Playing without grid! Works fine, no further crashes! Lucky me, the problem vanished as it appeared-after about 5 hours of gaming I couldn´t help checking the grid error again-and there was the grid !:goodjob:
I hate those bugs, but I love them, if they just dissapear - great victoryies without effort!
