Research-Maybe pottery?

I took some liberties with renaming things. I needed to rename the workers so I could tell them apart. I made them beavers so they would be hardworking (could be changed). Someone said in another thread that I was the one who was supposed to rename Delhi, so I did that too.

Units:
-Worker one renamed Alpha Beaver. Starts a road towards Delhi (2).
-Worker two renamed Beta Beaver. Starts a forest chop to finish Obelisk (3).
-Alpha Wolf is healing. He is at 1.5 health.

Cities:
-Short Line has growth in three and a Buddhist Monastery in four.

-Delhi renamed B&O. Growth in 13. Obelisk will be done in three with chop.

Research:
-Pottery in four

To discuss: What to build next? In SL? In B&O?
What to do about the barbs?

I suggest settler or warrior in SL and warrior in B&O.

How much happyness does a monastery give? we may have to stop growth in SL next turn.

We still have space for one more active citizen before unhappyness, or?
And after that, building a settler in Short Line will stop the growth for a while.

Where are the workes located at the moment? Might be good to start improving one or two squares around the new city-site right away?

Monastery gives +2 culture, +10% research, and the ability to build missionaries. No happy faces. I'm not sure how many automatic happies we get on this level, but we should be hooking up gold soon anyway. Can't improve squares that aren't in our borders (except roads), but I'll start a road there ASAP.

After growth in SL (before we get gold hooked up) We need to switch the land food resource (Corn? KORN!) to a plains tile. After growth we will be at max happy.

It would be our third settler. A worker for the settler is good. Are we going to put the new city in the location in the west we agreed on before?

SL should switch to maximum food (as food counts towards production when a settler is constructed). If the overflow of food from the last building is counted towards our settler, we should switch to maximum food right away.

Some new pictures of the land would be great. Especially close to the possible city sites.

Okay, will have new pictures next time.

When building a settler, both hammers and food count as production. We don't want to have have max food, we want to have max hammers+food.

Indeed.

My question was though if the excess food the turn that a building is complete counts towards the settler if there is a settler next in queue, or if that food is just added to the food storage.

SL has 6 turns on the settler. Not growing.

Hmm, pic seems lost. Next turn then. Some choices are AH,
archery, sailing, IW, and Masonry. Also Polytheism.
