Sorry my english.

1) Normal/epic/marathon?
What is your advice? What people usually play? (look at questions 4)

2) Barbarian city.
In my game there is big continent where is only BIG barbarian citys. Should I destroy those or should I take those?

3) "Levels" of army.
I am not home (= I don’t have manual) right now so I don’t remember is "level" right term. My question is: if I have barracks (+2 level), some civic, some wonder etc. can I have levelbonus same time from all of those? Or is it only from one and that one, which give best bonus. Is there some bonus you can have same time?

4) Size of map and number of civilizations?
I like to have biggest possible map and it should be like our world (not same) or maybe some more landarea. What is best map then?
How many civilizations is good number for that map? I think I would like to have as many as possible, but what is possible and makes game still realistic?

5) Negotiations.
What you usually say when other civilizations say that you should end treatys (luxuries etc.) with other civilizations? In my game I haven’t start any wars, but almost everyone is cautios or furious.

6) Random personalities.
So what is this? What are areas of effect? What do you think about this?

Take them if they increase your commerce overall. They will have a maintenance cost and upkeep cost, but should also bring in commerce. Depending on the particulars of your situation (how many cities you have, how far away from your capital this city is, your civics, etc...) these values can be very different. It will probably cost you more to capture the city than destroy it, so capture only if it holds a good strategic position, allows you access to an important resource, helps you achieve a domination victory, or to deny these to a rival civ.

These bonuses are cumulative. E.G. if you have barracks, theocracy, and vassalage, your units will start with 8 xp in that city (7 if you have warlords)

See the post on triangle diplomacy. That strategy has helped me enormously with that problem.
6) Random personalities.

This changes how that leader acts. For example, Monty is usually insanely aggressive. With random personalities, he may be a little less aggressive, or even pacifist. Another leader may instead be very aggressive. This makes it harder for you to predict what a given leader will choose to do.

So if e.g. barracks gives +2 and theocracy +2 I get +4 xp (!) not 4 chance to pick those new levels (like +10% strenght, +1 first strike etc.)

What are the xp-limits that give new levels (like +10% strenght, +1 first strike etc.) Is limits like 2, 4, 8, 16 xp or what?

So it is just personalities. Those civilizations have still same startingthings like "hunting" or "fishing" and same specialabilitys like "financial" or "industrious"?

Barracks gives +4 xp (in Vanilla), theocracy gives +2 xp (if your religion is in that city) So the total starting xp for a unit built in that city will be 6.
What are the xp-limits that give new levels (like +10% strenght, +1 first strike etc.) Is limits like 2, 4, 8, 16 xp or what?
The limits are at 2, 5, 10, 17, 26. I can't recall the higher limits. The unit in the previous example would be able to choose 2 promotions, since at 6 xp it is above 2 thresholds. You can always see the xp needed by selecting a unit. It will show something like xp: 11/17. This means the unit has earned 11 xp and must reach 17 xp (total) to get another promotion.
So it is just personalities. Those civilizations have still same startingthings like "hunting" or "fishing" and same specialabilitys like "financial" or "industrious"?
Correct

1) How much time do you have? Play a few different speeds and see which suits you best.

Marathon is often preferred by people who like the military aspects of CivIV. Building and moving units doesn't "slow" down as much as research and building buildings/wonders. This means more time to fight one type of war (say an Axemen war), before you have to upgrade them to Macemen.

If you find that you usually like playing for culture or space race victories, you may enjoy the faster speeds better, as you won't have to click the End Turn button as often to accomplish the same thing.

4) It sounds like you'd want to play Huge, Terra maps (all civs start on one continent, with one other continent left open for colonization). I don't play that type of map, so I can't provide any guidance on how many civs is a good number.

1)Personally I prefer marathon. At the faster speeds military in particular suffers from becoming obsolete before you get a chance to use them.

2)Too many variables to give a straightforward answer. Is the city well placed? Will it pay its own maintenance costs? Can you defend it? Each city needs to be thought about individually.

3)All the things which give bonus xp stack, but make sure you don't confuse xp and level. The levels are at xp's of 2, 5, 10, 17, 26, 37 and so on, unless you're playing a leader with the charismatic trait, in which case they're 25% lower than normal (2, 4, 8...).

4)Huge, Terra maps are the largest, and if you want large land areas set sea level to be low. On the biggest possible map I would advise the maximum number of civs possible (18 with vanilla Civ, 24 if you have Warlords). Be advised that huge maps tend to run very slowly except on high-end machines.

5)Pick your friends and your enemies, and only cancel deals to your enemies. Trying to be friends with everyone will simply leave you with no reliable allies at all.

6)It doesn't have that great an effect, except in a few cases of the more extreme personalities, like Montezuma and Tokuwaga, since you can't predict exactly how they'll act from the start. It doesn't take that long though to figure out which leader has picked up each personality on each occasion (at least for those personalities that significantly effect how the leader plays). Traits and starting techs are unaffected.
