Is it somehow impossible, or just not a goal you intend to work on?
In other words, could some kind of fan project make it multiplayer-compatible some day?

late human starts and random functions are two enough reason for the impossibility of multiplayer

It would be nice if it was hotseat multiplayer compatable. My Uncle and I like to play together that way. It wouldn't use the internet so it shouldn't cause problems.

in hotseat, civs spawn at odd times, and it often crashes.
