right, so i got a new machine pretty recently and so i put my 100 gig harddrive in it as well, as a slave.

1 problem, its getting pretty full and Id like to delete some folders on it, like the old windows folders and a few others.

i tried to do it in explorer, but i get an error message saying cant delete because of whatever. in case of the windows directory, i dont even get that, nothing happens when i try to delete it, and i do mean nothing.

I downloaded and installed a program called MoveOnBoot, that is supposed to delete anything. well it failed to delete the windows folder.

Can anyone help me? any help would be much appericiated. :hammer2:

If you're trying to delete the folders while you're using the copy of Windows thats using them, you wont be able to delete them, since, well, windows is using them...

Your best hope in getting it off is to remove anything you want to keep onto the master drive and reformat the slave drive....

Use a Knoppix boot CD, or a USB stick, or some other completely-remote thing that can reorganize your stuff?
