are there any good AoE expansion sites, kinda like this one?:confused:

I don't know if there is a "The Conquerors" website as good as this one is for all Civ games. Really, this site is one of the best on the web for any game. Most sites are just cheats and unit info, and never get updated, but CivFanatics changes all the time and gives new info every day. The forums here are awesome too.

Anyway, the only good site I know of for Age of Kings is at HeavenGames, I think its http://aok.heavengames.com . Not sure, though, and too lazy to test it. Look it up yourself.

There used to be a good site called "Mist's Town" or something, but I don't know if that exists anymore, it might have been just a preview site.

Age of Empires II is one of the best games I ever played. I played it for about 2 years straight (including the expansion) on 2 different computers and it never got old. I still couldn't beat too many people on the Zone, though. :(

yes AoE II is a great game. I dont like how they did there recources though, i often find myself runing out with a 200 pop limit so i am forced for a 75 or lower limit.

Its easy to get around this. You have at least 75+ villagers and then churn out about 50 - 100 paladins and 5 - 10 trebuchets and the computer does not stand a chance. If you are running out tof resources then it implies that you do not have enough villagers, you don't control enough resource sources or you are playing on low resource maps and letting the computer use up the other resources before you can claim them.

I usually have 100 max population set on. Trebuchets totally trash the computer. The Teutons and the Byzantines are some of the best also.

The only time you can make the computer really difficult to play against is when you play 1 v 7 and have the difficulty on hard...Very hard to hold your own territory. If you play online then its usually more balanced.
