I uncovered yet two more (old) Civilization III previews while surfing the web tonight, both are at HappyPuppy.com!! It's unbelievable that we all missed those two previews, considering HappyPuppy is one of the major gaming sites on the web.

The first preview was written by Gabe Abarcar and was posted on June 15 during this year's E3. It's posted in the Windows section of HappyPuppy and is a fun read.

Do you have what it takes to prove that Ghengis Khan was just a fragile pansy? Have you ever wanted to tell Caesar to go stick those grape leaves up his candy ass? Well, you'll soon have your chance with Civilization III.

The second preview is buried in in the MAC section of HappyPuppy. It's a bit older than the previous preview and was posted shortly after Infogrames annouced a MAC version of Civ III (around May 15). Click here to read this preview!

i was just reading this review and it said something about air missions?? ... i havent read anything about em .. has anyone else heard anything about the way air combat will be done?? ... i think it has to be different, to reduce the micromanagement needed to run an air campaign ... but anyways .. anyone heard anything?

In regards to air battles, I have not heard any other details, but air warfare is the one area of the game (Civ II) that needs the most improvement. I'm sure Fireaxis will do alot to expand the types of air units available and their abilities and the way air combat happens. I'm looking forward to see what they do with it.

Treasure hunting? Cool! You should be able to put money in the ground to dig it up in times of need! Same with weapons; burry them bear a city that will be conquered, send a settler to dig them up and turn the settler into a musketeer!
