one day, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police recive a call. the caller is fanatic "Hello? RCMP? You'd better get here quick I tell ya! I just saw Mike stashing Marijuana in his firewood!"
the next day, the RCMP showes up with thier axes, goes into Mikes shed, and chops all the wood looking for the pot. they find none, and go home. later the day, the phone rings at Mike's house. he picks up
"Hi Mike?"
"yea"
"did the RCMP come to your house looking for drugs?"
"yea"
"did they chop up all your firewood?"
"yea"
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!!!"

Here in Canada, a newfie's joke is like a Pollock's joke or Belgium for the French.
