I got my copy in a cerial box, on the CD it does say for Windows 95/98, but it's worked just fine on XP until now. Now when I laod it up the music for the main menu plays but the screen is blank. And I can click on the buttons (lots of guesswork there as I can't see the mouse) and it did bring me to the menu, but the frame rate that Fraps is showing is 0 the whole time so the animation is only showing one frame, and the boxes come up but I can't play the game...

I have no idea what's going on. EDIT: This is on my crudy computer.

This is the first RCT, right? That game had some serious trouble running under XP. I haven't tried it, but here's (http://www.atari.com/us/support/newfaq/rollercoastertycoon.php?browser=1&osType=WINXP&pageDisplay=DOWNLOADS) an official patch that might work. Doesn't support the expansion packs though. Have you tried Compatiblity modes?

I tried compatibility mode. Didn't work.
