View Full Version : Digital age gross poll Comraddict Sep 02, 2006, 02:36 PM Which of following words/terms make your blood boil the most? PrinceScamp Sep 02, 2006, 03:00 PM What is RIAA/MPAA/DRM and WGA? I hate viruses and spyware, but AOL is pretty gross too, and stoppable. So AOL is my most hated out of that list. Also I think they own netscape as I got a CD in the mail offering upto 19X FASTER Dial-Up! They sent this to my place that has CABLE. It was a Netscape CD but I noticed amongst the trademarks AOL. I had fun etching the surcfaces with a key and mentaly cursing AOL about their wasting of plastic. brettman135 Sep 03, 2006, 07:17 AM APPLE i hate it I HATE IT I HATE IT KaeptnOvi Sep 04, 2006, 03:22 AM What is RIAA/MPAA/DRM and WGA? RIAA - Recording Industry Association of America MPAA - Motion Picture Association of America DRM - Digital Rights Management WGA - Windows Genuine Advantage I voted for RIAA/MPAA/DRM. the others I can take care of. I don't need to use an Apple, if I don't want to, and Microsoft isn't that bad, IMHO. Spyware is annoying, but can be eliminated if you take proper precautions and I had never anything to do with AOL but copy-protection on CDs is my main beef. I just hate it. and often it's on CD's that I'd really like, but I've made it a point to never again buy any Music-CDs that are copy-protected. Billy Rubin Sep 09, 2006, 09:18 AM I didn't mind apple - after all I've never had to use it - unfortunately, there's one at work and I have to use it from time to time (about once a month for ten minutes) and now I plainly hate it - whoever came up with that unintuitive OS definitely smokes crack on a daily basis. Second thing are ipods - neat as such, but why the heck just can't they make it recognizable as an external hard drive, like e.g. cowons products? I wouldn't mind - after all I don't have an ipod, but more and more people start using Itunes and install it on shared computers at work, setting it as default player for music files and I just hate that software... Aphex_Twin Sep 09, 2006, 01:39 PM I barely remember what spyware means. Oh, the joys of Linux ;) CivGeneral Sep 09, 2006, 02:20 PM Spyware is what I hate the most . Red Door Sep 09, 2006, 06:05 PM AOL is the cause of all of my hate ever.
