I think this error:

Warning: building BUILDING_BLOODBOWL is not associated with a CvCityLSystem node; it will not be visible!

Means that that buidling isnt in the Civ4CityLSystem.xml file. I wouldn't expect that to be a problem at all, you just won't see the building in the city graphic if it isn't in that file.

I think this error:

Means that there is a problem with the actual building model. I notice that some building come with a dds like 'med_palace_shadow.dds' which seems to be the shadow of the building. Maybe that dds file is missing?

As for this one:

I don't know what that means. I looked through your Civ4CityLSystem.xml file and everything looked okay to me. You may try backreving to the origional one and see if your errors go away. Or if you have changed any of the era city art you may want to try removing to see if things clear up.

Hopefully that helps. Let me know what you find out.

I will try the vanilla citylist and plots and see what comes of that. And possible have a look at the FFH custombuildings as well to compare.
What mainly concerns me is those last two lines though - I believe this event to cause a ctd but just can't figure out why this could happen since farms are build all the time without issues:confused:

Another note on the shadow.dds
I searched through the ffh buildings and discovered that some of them don't have shadows as well(i.e. adventurer's guild). Wouldn't make sense anyway for buildings which don't have a shadowmap in their nif but normally those don't cause ctds even then. So what I would expect is the Guild causing this kind of errormessage as well if your guess is correct.

That's another strange issue. The chaostemple and orctemple you probably mean (if not others as well) are also linked to vanillafolders without any customart but the buttons... and they seem to cause crashes as well. Even stranger is they showed normal before but somewhere on the way dissapeared suddenly and we noticed too late to trace back what caused that.(note nothing was changed about their artdefines during all this time)

Edit: whaah not true someone must have cleared out the artdefs now I check again! Feel stupid somehow but still, this'll probably fix other crashes not the one above since neither of those religions is present in that save.

Yep guess was correct. I could fix the temples but still get the ctd with the savedgame. And the errorlog keeps quite the same just only one of those last missing farmnodes this time...

What about switching in the vanilla Civ4CityLSystem.xml?

I've set both cityLsystem and Plotsytem into debugmode and uploaded the logs here one for the lsystem and the rest of the logs in another zip. Still can't see what is causing the ctd.

Try posting your game save and let's see if it works now. All I've done is downloaded form the Modpacks thread and the patch and combined them (although it's quite confusing having to change the name of the folder in my mods directory).

Oh maybe that patch isn't intuitive enough. I guess that error you got is due to the changed modfoldername couldn't be? I had issues with the mercmod and not updated modname.py earlier don't you rember?:D You shouldn't rename the modfolder just place the assets of the patch.:mischief:

Well, I needed to change the name of the folder to try to load that save game that you posted in the WH forums. When I did a complete clean install of WH from the forum, I get this folder name:

WFB06b+

Then, I install the patch over it. But, your save game wanted to use WFB06d as the mod name. So, I had to rename the folder.

Am I missing something or wouldn't it be simpler to just name it "WarhammerFB" or something to that affect and just keep a version number in a text file or something?

Edit:

Ok, the saved game you posted here wants the b+ version, so I'll just do another clean install without changing the mod folder name. Also, when you referred to the "error message that you got", I hope you were talking about the error to load the old save file, because the error that I posted two posts up was in the logs that you posted :P

Well, I think the problem with the WH crash wasn't LSystem related, but a problem with mercmod, so that's why we're heading there.

Ket, you said you weren't experiencing any crashes, right? As Ploe showed in one of the twin threads, many of those errors and warnings can be found even in vanilla. I don't think there's much to worry about, and if there is, it's probably outside of our control as modders anyway.

Now, I wouldn't take that as fact, because that's just my thought, and maybe someone else will come along and prove me wrong. But until then...

I just hate seeing log files grow when they should not be :)

I'm the same way as your other statement, my programmer side goes WOAH

My other concern is that we are both using some very memory intensive graphic changes, formations will eat through graphics memory. I figure if the Lsystem is having problems then I dont want memory leaks there to tear a whole through the system causing a cascading crash later on down the line when memory starts getting swapped.

Maybe we should encourage poeple to use FreeRAM XP Pro when playing our mods. This tools really fills out the gaps sometimes the game has with managing memory. But yes this still is a problem. Still I must say the main eater of memory in civ is still the mapsize not the units even if they are highpoly imo. At least that's what I can tell from my gameexperiences.

And yes this growing logs are really annoying. Really hope we find a fix. For some reason FFH doesn't seem to have the problem and vanilla during normal games also not. The testcase I had now that I rember was unusual for the game in the way I put in buildings. In example I put a harbor in the city which is not besides oceantiles and deleted that again. Maybe this was it? But then the log didn't list any error with the harbor...
