I reskinned a random LH the other day for my own entertainment.

I'm not going to be using it, but if someone needs it for a mod I can upload it, or fix it to make it look more like someone.

I'm trying to improve my skinning skills, so C&C is appreciated. It was originally supposed to be a pirate, but that didn't work out too well...

Why not upload him as a Pirate??? to me it looks like one of the most exceptionally well-done LHs on the forums. I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it, but I would certainly like to add it to my library :goodjob:. Good job.

I was trying to add an eyepatch, but that doesn't work since the skin doesn't cover the eye. It ended up looking like someone punched the pirate in the eye.

Also, I was trying to get Ragnar's background to work with the LH, with a modified ship. It kept crashing, probably due to a silly mistake. Once I get this to work, I will upload the LH.

Keep a version without eyecap. Once I go for 3D Leaders he would be interesting as is for my Tilea civ:)

Unfortunately not, because no other LH has an eyepatch that I can use.

I could create an eyepatch and then add it from NifSkope, but that wouldn't be worth the effort.

Does it need the strap?

Since I don't know how hard this could be I decided to make a simple eyepatch with no strap. It's black, but should do the job.

woodelf, if you could make a parrot, that would be nice. I can scale it properly, so that's not a problem.

Now if only I could add Ragnar's background, and get some more snarling in the animations...Frederick's animations are too happy for a pirate.

For what its worth, I thought it looked really good w/out the parrot. I dont really think it would need it.

Now you can have either or since here's the ugliest parrot known to man. For about 5 times the polys he looked good after mesh smoothing, but this is relatively low and blocky. The skin job is somewhat rushed, but he shouldn't get too many close ups. ;)

Im trying to think of who the LH look slike (maybe someone from Netherlands or Portugal).

How about Stalin's movements....it might make him look a "bit shifty" ;) .

With all the leaderheads Ive seen "in production". I have to say I am pretty impressed with the quality that has come out.

It worked, but since it's not animated the LH animations make it look like a wooden prop. So I decided not to use it....although it's a great parrot.

Once I get the NiTriShapes to work properly. It crashes in-game right now, but this new version of NifSkope should let me fix it swiftly.
