If you do, I have a quick and simple question. When you drag a checkbox onto the sheet, how do you make it checkable instead of just being a picture?

You might try asking this in the computer subforum. aaglo Sep 07, 2006, 03:10 PM I know how to use excel, but I don't use checkboxes... :p I use it to draw force-displacement curves... :crazyeye: Vanadorn Sep 07, 2006, 03:14 PM From the FORMS Toolbar, select the check box and place where you want on your sheeet Then, once you are back in the "I" beam mode, the control for the check box is adjustable. All you have to do is click on it My 2 cents Cuchullain Sep 07, 2006, 03:50 PM When you first place a control on a worksheet, you are automatically put in Design Mode. Controls do not function in Design Mode (this is so that you can adjust the properties, resize the control, place it where you want it, etc...). Odds are, you just haven't taken it out of design mode yet. You'll probably notice that the Design Mode icon is in a depressed state (this is the icon with the blue triangle, white ruler, and yellow pencil). Click on the icon to take it out of Design mode. The box should function normally then. I used to teach Excel. If there is anything I can help you with, PM me; I'd be happy to help. |
