When I move my cursor across a space that I can type on or over text, it is suppose to turn into a black "I" shaped cursor. But now, it turns into a white "I" and I cannot even see it when I am I typing on MS Word. Can anyone tell me how to fix it? I suspect I may have toggled something when I was going into the display setting of my control panel.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Mouse
"Pointers" Tab
Under "Schemes" select "Windows Default (system scheme)"
or if you have some custom stuff set up and just want to change that one thing, scroll down and double click "text select" to set it. "beam_m.cur" is the default, IIRC.
