can someone plz help me get the fall from heaven mod to work? I have tried everything I can think of. The mod is properly installed, but it doesn't take affect in any way.

do you 'load the mod' or use the shortcut in the mod/ffh folder?
and then do you wait? it takes a LONG time to load, sometimes like 5-10 minutes before anything happens

I use the shortcut.

Do this: Click on the shortcut (with Civilization IV CD on, not Warlords). Now wait. And wait some more. Go drink a glass of water, its good for health. Now go to the bathroom. Now wait a little more. Now see what´s on on the TV. Hey, the mod has loaded !

did you install civ in a non standard location? did you make sure it installed in the right location? is it in your mods folder?

i dont think it works with the expansion pack warlords

not sure what to tell you if you've installed it properly and it doesnt show up under load a mod

If you dont see 'Fall from Heaven 2 016' in the Load a Mod menu under the advanced options then it probably isn't installed in the correct location.

It default to installing to the default location for englich version of the game: C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\

But if you have installed Civ4 somewhere different you will have to browse to the correct place in your install program. So if you installed Civ4 on your D drive then you will want to browse to: D:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Mods\

just to make sure, you not only downloaded it, but you also ran the file you downloaded? i know some mods you just download and place in the mod folder, but this one you have to run the exe file you download and it will install the mod.

0.16 isnt out yet, 0.15 is what you want. (curse you kael, you made me get my hopes up thinking 0.16 was out lol)

Your civ4 isnt in the default location, thats why it cant find it (and why civ4 cant find FfH). You will need to find out where you installed Civ4 and then rerun the FfH install and point it to the mods directory under whereever civ4 is.

That means you installed the patch instead of the full mod. The full mad is about 200 meg and has all the art stuff in it that you are mising now (which is why you are seeing the red blobs).

And then you have to apply the patch into that folder.
