I just installed Civ 3 on my computer. i have XP and when i start to play it shows the movie and then i click out of and the screen goes black and u can hear the sounds and stuff but doesnt come back on.. i have no idea what to do[FONT=times new roman] :cry: :confused: :mad:

Dude don't make the guy hunt. If you're gonna take the time to post give him the ****ing solution sheesh.

Trying opening up your civilization3.ini file and adding a line that says

Refresh=60

Or try another refresh rate that you're sure your monitor supports while running at 1024x768.
