RegentMan Sep 27, 2006, 12:12 PM Should the :culture: time remaining be twenty turns, not forty, as we're two :culture:pt?
Nice thread setup. :)
robboo Sep 27, 2006, 09:29 PM I will like to be your deputy..just know i will be gone for a week or 10 days.

You've got the job!
dutchfire Sep 30, 2006, 10:02 AM updated the thread (with a nice pic too, thanks to bclg)
Robi D Oct 02, 2006, 02:35 AM Are we still doing the work boat after the warrior?
BCLG100 Oct 02, 2006, 04:43 AM aye, that picture was taken before i made any changes.
dutchfire Oct 02, 2006, 11:57 PM thread updated!
dutchfire Oct 09, 2006, 10:30 AM thread updated
We might need to discuss the next tech.
Animal Husbandry?
BCLG100 Oct 09, 2006, 10:34 AM i woulda thought the next tech was IW.
dutchfire Oct 09, 2006, 12:03 PM Sounds good too, but It'll mean we can't make a pasture on the sheep.
BCLG100 Oct 09, 2006, 12:57 PM aye but with the extra food from the sea resources(cant remember what they are) we wont be needing the food from a pasture for the time being so may as well mine it :)
robboo Oct 09, 2006, 07:50 PM IW next for sure...Get AH later. BC is correct we have one resource with food running and when we get teh pigs which arent as good as the seafood. We will have a nice littel food supply
azzaman333 Oct 10, 2006, 01:45 AM IW next for sure...Get AH later. BC is correct we have one resource with food running and when we get teh pigs which arent as good as the seafood. We will have a nice littel food supply
Did a magician change our sheep to pigs?
dutchfire Oct 10, 2006, 09:46 AM updated .
dutchfire Oct 10, 2006, 09:49 AM What are we going to do with the worker? Mine the sheep (not pigs!)?
BCLG100 Oct 10, 2006, 09:50 AM switched things around with citizens, we're working the copper now and not one of the forested spices.
BCLG100 Oct 10, 2006, 09:52 AM and build a road with the worker to hook the copper up.
then go mine the pigs/sheep/cow/ducks/whatever we want to call them :)
then either start building a road to the new city or build a couple of farms around the capital.
Sweetacshon Oct 10, 2006, 10:03 AM We don't need farms at all - 2 clams (and if neccessary pastured sheep) will be enough food. If there are no mines or cottages to build.... road it up.
dutchfire Oct 10, 2006, 10:04 AM we don't need copper right now, do we? In 2 turns we'll have our 4 citizen and a workboat. We can then work the two clams, the copper and another tile. Mined Sheep would be better than our calendar resource (spices?).
1889 Oct 10, 2006, 11:25 AM We need to hook up copper so we have the option to build axemen. Warriors do not do well against barbarian archers.
BCLG100 Oct 10, 2006, 11:54 AM We don't need farms at all - 2 clams (and if neccessary pastured sheep) will be enough food. If there are no mines or cottages to build.... road it up.
depends how you play i guess. I prefer to get max pop asap, the good thing about farms is that they are easily destroyed and switched to cottages.
RegentMan Oct 10, 2006, 02:27 PM Yes, we need that copper hooked up. We lose out on building warriors, but that's a small price to pay.
I'd also say cottages > farms, but I guess that's my play style.
dutchfire Oct 11, 2006, 12:51 AM The workers name will be: Beachboy
Robi D Oct 11, 2006, 01:20 AM Copper or what:confused: ;)
BCLG100 Oct 11, 2006, 06:34 AM and now to find the change name function (i never bother with it normally) :D
Robi D Oct 11, 2006, 07:06 AM just click on the name in the unit info box in the bottom left hand corner
1889 Oct 11, 2006, 09:32 AM It's a small matter but maybe fruit would be better in this case. I don't want an enemy scout to spot our worker and be able to know what resources we have.
BCLG100 Oct 11, 2006, 10:16 AM i do agree :)
dutchfire Oct 11, 2006, 10:43 AM The new new worker name will be Beachboy! (I'm running out of names :p)
BCLG100 Oct 11, 2006, 10:53 AM well thats 2...... :p
RegentMan Oct 11, 2006, 11:11 AM Not banana?
:(
croxis Oct 11, 2006, 11:53 AM Not Battlestar Gallactica?
:(
dutchfire Oct 13, 2006, 07:31 AM updated...
dutchfire Oct 15, 2006, 09:04 AM updated, but I don't think all the figures are correct (I'll wait until next turn, and hope BCLG shows us some city info again)
dutchfire Oct 23, 2006, 09:21 AM updated it, whow, that took some time. 8 days and 17 minutes!
dutchfire Oct 28, 2006, 03:42 AM Updated it, but I can't get the new picture working.
croxis Oct 30, 2006, 02:00 PM fix the link to the president thread ;)
dutchfire Oct 31, 2006, 08:47 AM done. (xcl)
Karhu Nov 11, 2006, 06:52 AM surely Mysticism need to be added to one of the two lists?
dutchfire Nov 11, 2006, 09:30 AM done, this thread needs updating anyway (I hope BCLG posts a nice sceeny with the mouse hovering over our city soon)
BCLG100 Nov 11, 2006, 09:34 AM that a hint? ;)
dutchfire Nov 11, 2006, 09:52 AM all i got to do now is get dutch something to do.
What goes around, comes around. :p
BCLG100 Nov 11, 2006, 03:36 PM  well why dont i just say do it yourself then and ive got more important things to be doing than your job? :p
ill try and remember next time i go in
dutchfire Nov 13, 2006, 09:05 AM Thread updated,
what should the worker do? Chop/Mine the plains hills?
BCLG100 Nov 13, 2006, 09:28 AM i dont like chopping too much before math unless we have too, so could just farm one north of the sheep. i could continue using the worker to road as well maybe-not that its much use
dutchfire Nov 13, 2006, 09:34 AM maybe road towards our new city site in the south-east.
BCLG100 Nov 13, 2006, 09:46 AM but we havnt decided for definate thats where it is, also we have sailing thus the road isnt a neccessity for the time being.
dutchfire Nov 13, 2006, 09:52 AM it allows our settler to get there faster, and should I put up a poll about settling (or do you, I don't know our constitution).
edit: It's not my job.
1889 Nov 13, 2006, 09:53 AM I'd say road that silk forest toward to new city (posters in the president's thread are in favor of settling by the river up north 5-3).
dutchfire Nov 13, 2006, 09:54 AM I think quite some opinions have changed over time, so a poll would be best IMO.
BCLG100 Nov 13, 2006, 10:06 AM i dont think we need a poll right now-polls arnt the be all and all-this isnt the demogame ;):D
besides were going with the wait and see approach in regards to our warriors out scouting.
dutchfire Nov 13, 2006, 10:15 AM It wouldn't hurt though. And we've got enough time to do a poll now.
BCLG100 Nov 13, 2006, 10:38 AM but why? in a few turns we may have better ideas due to the warriors.
RegentMan Nov 13, 2006, 03:45 PM When the settler gets down to two or three turns, that's when I think we need the poll.
BCLG100 Nov 13, 2006, 04:49 PM yup or even the turn before its due at the rate CBR play the save :D
RegentMan Nov 13, 2006, 08:43 PM yup or even the turn before its due at the rate CBR play the save :D
 How true!
